Lemon Dressing Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Dried basil: 2 tsp

  • Olive oil: 2½ tbsp

  • Dijon mustard: ½ tbsp 

  • Lemon juice: 4 tsp

  • Apple cider vinegar: 4 tsp

  • Garlic powder: ¼ tsp

  • Dried oregano: ½ tsp

  • Dried thyme: ½ tsp

  • Honey: 2 tsp

  • Salt: ¼ tsp 

Directions:

With a whisk, mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl. Once everything is mixed, you can serve it right away, if you’d like. I recommend that you make it ahead of time and let it sit in the fridge for an hour; the spices will give the dressing more flavor over that time. It may solidify in the fridge, and this is normal. Once it gets back to room temperature, it will quickly go back to a liquid.

Notes:

The quantities above make it more tangy. If you like it less intense, I'd add a half tbsp of oil. If you want it a little sweeter, add another tsp of honey. Feel free to adjust the spices a little bit as well! Personally, I like a little more garlic powder and basil.
