Harvest Vegetable Ragu

Ingredients

Ground meat (Beef, pork, lamb, turkey)

Carrot

Apple

Tomatoes (fresh or canned)

Serving Sizes

  •  4 oz ground pork
    ½ apple, shredded
    ½ carrot, shredded
    ½ cup pasta
    ¼ cup diced tomato or tomato sauce
    ¼ tsp Italian seasoning
    Salt and pepper to taste

  •  1 lb ground pork
    2 apples, shredded
    2 carrots, shredded
    2 cups pasta
    1 cup diced tomato or tomato sauce
    1 tsp Italian seasoning
    Salt and pepper to taste

  • Cutting board
    Knife
    Pot and skillet
    Spoon

Nutrition Facts

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta until tender; drain.

  2. Put a little oil in a skillet and brown meat.

  3. Stir in diced apple, carrot, tomato and seasoning.

  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat. Simmer 20 minutes until carrot is tender.

  5. Taste and adjust seasoning before serving.

  6. Enjoy!!
