Black Bean Chili

  • In your crate

    Jar of veggies

    Potatoes

    Chili tomato sauce

  • Recommended cooking utensils

    Large pot (for cooking the chili)

    Stirring spoon (for stirring the ingredients)

    Measuring cups (for adding broth or water)

    Lid (for covering the pot while simmering)

Instructions

  1. In a medium pot, add about a tablespoon of oil over medium heat. 

  2. Once hot, add the jar of vegetables.

  3. Sauté the vegetables until the potatoes and carrots are as soft as you would like them (about 5-10 minutes).

  4. Add the chili tomato sauce.

  5. Mix and add about 1/4 cup of water per serving if the chili is too thick. 

  6. Enjoy and add salt and pepper to taste!

  7. Serve and enjoy!
