Veggie Pizza

  • In your crate

    Pizza dough

    Tomato sauce

    Cheese

    Pre-chopped veggies

    Pre-cooked chicken

  • Recommended cooking utensils

    Baking sheet

    Rolling pin

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F. Then heat a drizzle of olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add vegetables and sauté for about 3-5 minutes.

  2. While the veggies are cooking, roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface with a lightly floured rolling pin. If the dough keeps shrinking back as you try to stretch it, you may need to let it sit another 5-10 minutes. Once shaped into a circle, pinch the edges up to create the crust.

  3. Transfer the rolled dough to a baking sheet. Then spread a thin layer of pizza sauce over the dough.

  4. Add the cooked vegetables, chicken, and cheese to the pizza. To “veganize” this recipe skip the cheese/chicken or use a dairy-free alternative.

  5. Bake for 10–15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown. If you have a single serving, it might cook in less than 10 minutes, check it around 7 minutes to see if it needs more time. If you have more than four servings it may be a little longer than 15 minutes.

  6. Once the crust is golden brown, remove it from the oven, and enjoy!
