Baked Lentil and Wheat Berries Casserole

  • In your crate

    Jar of lentils and wheat berries

    Jar of seasonal veggies, diced tomatoes and garlic

    Cheese

  • Recommended cooking utensils

    Casserole dish or baking pan

    Tin foil or lid for pan

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  2. Combine rinsed lentils and wheat berries, 3/4 cup of water per cup of lentils and wheat berries mixed

  3. Add the jar of veggies and seasoning, salt and pepper, mix well

  4. Place in a baking pan. Cover tightly w/ foil or lid.

  5. Bake for 30 to 45 minutes, then remove from oven and stir.

  6. Sprinkle cheese and bake uncovered for 5 minutes or until cheese melts. Remove and let stand for 10 min.

  7. Serve and enjoy!
