Recommended cooking utensils
Large skillet
Stirring/serving spoon
1/3 measuring cup
Instructions
Add about a tbsp of oil per serving to a skillet (or frying pan).
Add the jar of vegetables and cook until soft on medium heat (about 5 or 6 on the dial).
Once the vegetables are soft, add the sauce, noodles, and protein (either ground turkey or beans).
Cook the mixture until the noodles are soft. You may need to add water if the sauce becomes too thick or begins to stick to the pan. Add about ¼ cup of water each time. Too much water will make the sauce too thin.
Once the noodles are soft, turn the heat down to about 2 or 3 on the dial, and add your cheese to the top.
Your skillet lasagna is ready to serve!
