Instructions

  1. Measure 3 times water for each measure of the rice and lentil mix in a pot (for one serving use 2 cups) Bring to a boil.

  2. Add the rice and lentil mix to is and add salt to taste. Lower the heat and let it cook till the water is absorbed. Stir if needed.

  3. In a bowl empty the chickpea flour. Add a little water to make a thick smooth paste. Add more water to thin the paste.

  4. Dice the potato.

  5. In a pot, heat oil and add the diced veggies. Add a little water and let it cook with the lid on.

  6. Once the veggies are soft, add water so that the veggies are fully covered with it. Let the water heat.

  7. Slowly pour the chickpea flour paste while stirring the mixture. It will thicken up. Add salt to taste. Cook till some bubbles pop up. Turn off heat.

  8. Serve Kadhi on the khichdi on a plate. Enjoy!
