Sausage and Shell Soup

  • In your crate

    Jar of ground sausage

    Pasta

    Jar of mixed seasonal greens and garlic along with bouillon, and spices: basil, oregano, cayenne, mustard powder and red pepper flakes

  • Recommended cooking utensils

    Pot to boil noodles, you will use same pot for soup

    Strainer to drain water from noodles

    Spoon to stir

    Ladle to serve

Instructions

  1. In pot bring water to boil, add pasta and cook for 7 min. Drain water, set aside in strainer until later step.

  2. Add cooked meat, bouillon, add 1 cup water per serving. Bring to boil and reduce heat to simmer.

  3. Add jar of veggies and simmer for another 5 mins.

  4. Add cooked pasta and more water as desired. Add more salt and pepper to taste.

  5. Serve and enjoy!
