Moroccan Chicken

  • In your crate

    Jar of cooked chicken (chickpeas for Veg)

    Jar of diced onions and carrots

    Dressing (lemon juice, honey, cilantro)

    Sauce mix (ginger, garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, cinnamon, lemon zest and gluten-free flour)

    Couscous (rice for GF)

    *Kimchi (not apart of your meal recipe, just a snack for you to try!)

  • Recommended cooking utensils

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add diced onions and carrots, and sauté until golden brown.

  2. Add the sauce blend. Mix well. Add one cup of water per serving. Cook for 5-7 minutes till carrots are tender. Add water if needed. 

  3. Add chicken, mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Add salt to taste.

  4. Add dressing and mix well.

  5. In a pot, heat water (for 1 cup couscous take 1.25 cup water). Add a little oil or butter and salt. Then add couscous, cover, and cook for 3-5 minutes on medium heat till the water is fully absorbed. Fluff it with a fork.

  6. Serve chicken tagine on couscous and enjoy!
