Curried Winter Squash Soup
Ingredients
Winter squash
Carrot
Garlic
Onion
Beans (canned, drained)

1 cup winter squash, cubed
½ carrot, sliced
½ cup beans (any type)
¼ tsp curry powder
¼ tsp garlic powder
Salt to taste
Oil or butter
1 cup water or broth -
4 cups winter squash, cubed
2 carrots, sliced
2 cups beans (any type)
1 tsp curry powder
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt to taste

Cutting board
Knife
Pot
Potato masher or spoon
Instructions
Heat oil in pot to medium-high; add onion & garlic and cook until fragrant.
Add squash and carrot, cook until soft, about 15 minutes.
Add curry, garlic, and salt.
Add beans and water; simmer 20 minutes until squash is tender.
Mash lightly for creaminess; finish with butter.
