  • Stew beef or beans

Ingredients

Serving Sizes

    • Stew beef (or beans) — 1/2 cup (3–4 oz meat, or 1 cup beans)

    • Potatoes — 1 cup chopped

    • Onion — 1/4 cup chopped

    • Garlic — 1 clove minced

    • Tomato (diced) — 1/2 cup

    • Cabbage — 1/2 cup chopped

    • Beets — 1/2 cup diced

    • Herb blend — 1 tsp

    • Oil — 1 tsp

    • Water/broth — 2 cups

    • Stew beef — 1 lb. (or 2 cups cooked beans for vegetarian)

    • Potatoes — 2 cups chopped

    • Onion — 1/2 cup chopped

    • Garlic — 2 cloves minced

    • Tomato (diced) — 1 cup

    • Cabbage — 1 cup chopped

    • Beets — 1 cup cubed

    • Herb blend — 2 tsp

    • Oil — 2 tsp

    • Water — 4 cups

  • Cutting board/knife

    Large pot with a lid

    Large spoon/ladle

Instructions

  1. Chop all the veggies.

  2. Heat oil in pot to medium

  3. Start with onions and garlic, cook until tender

  4. Add stew meat and seasonings, cool through

  5. Toss the remaining veggies in and cover with water or broth.

  6. Bring to a boil, then cover, turn stove to simmer.

  7. Cook for 45 minutes, until everything is tender, stirring once and a while.
