Chicken Marinara

  • In your crate

    Jar of seasoned and cooked chicken OR seasoned tofu OR soy free kidney bean crumble.

    Jar of marinara sauce

    Bag of wilted spinach/kale

    Spaghetti noodles OR Gluten Free noodles

    Mozzarella/parmesan cheese blend OR vegan (fenugreek & nutritional yeast) parmesan cheese

  • Recommended cooking utensils

    Stock pot with lid (to boil noodles)

    Sauté pan for veggies

    Spoon or spatula

Instructions

  1. Boil water and cook pasta, drain, set aside.

  2. Heat a little oil on medium-high, sauté spinach/kale in the pan for a couple minutes, until tender.

  3. Add sauce into the same pan and heat on medium-low for about 15 minutes. Cut chicken into preferred sizes and add to the pan with the spinach and sauce. Cover and simmer for another 15 minutes.

  4. Serve warm over noodles, sprinkle with cheese.

  5. Serve and enjoy!
