Deconstructed Shepard's Pie

  • In your crate

    Potatoes

    Ground lamb

    Mixed vegetables

    Beans/sauce mix

    Shredded cheese

  • Recommended cooking utensils

    Medium pot

    Large skillet or sauté pan

    Wooden spoon or spatula

    Measuring cup

    Fork for mashing

Instructions

  1. Peel the potato and cut into chunks. Place in a pot, cover with water, and bring to a boil.

  2. Cook 10-15 minutes or until tender. Drain and mash gently with a fork. Optional: add a splash of milk or butter for smoother texture.

  3. While potatoes are boiling, heat a little oil in a skillet and sauté the mixed vegetables for 5 minutes, add the ground lamb and cover. Simmer until heated thoroughly.

  4. Sprinkle with cheese and serve warm. Enjoy!
