Rustic Bean Soup

  • In your crate

    Jar of tomatoes, cooked beans, and bouillon

    Jar of mixed veggies

    Loaf of gluten free bread (for thickener)

  • Recommended cooking utensils

    Stock pot with lid

    Spoon or spatula

Instructions

  1. Add oil to pot and heat on medium. Dump veggies from the jar and sauté for a couple minutes, until onions are tender.

  2. Add tomatoes and beans to the veggies, bring to a low boil and give it a stir, turn heat down and cover.

  3. Cook the bean soup until the carrots are tender, about 30 minutes.

  4. Tear up the bread into bitesize pieces and put in the pot, this will thicken it. Stir and let heat through for 5 minutes, season to taste.

  5. Serve and enjoy!
