Rustic Bean Soup

  • In your crate

    Jar of seasonal veggies

    Jar of bean and veggie mix (onions, carrots, potato, garlic, tomato sauce)

    Seasonings

    Loaf of gluten free bread ( for thickener)

  • Recommended cooking utensils

    Pot with lid

    Spoon or spatula

Instructions

  1. Heat pot to medium-high, add jar with beans and veggies.

  2. Add spices and one cup of water per person in your family. Bring to a simmer.

  3. Cover and cook until the kale is tender, about 30 minutes.

  4. Tear up the bread and put into the pot, this will thicken it. Stir and let heat through for 5 minutes.

  5. Serve and enjoy!
